Open GL Enhancer >> go to Displays
>> go to PCs & Other

OpenGL (Open Graphics Language) is the leading
standard for professional 3D imaging applications and is the basis for nearly all interactive 3D programs. The use of the OpenGL standard in applications allows for compatibility with a wide variety of computer platforms.

The OpenGL Enhancer allows existing 3D applications, which render using the OpenGL graphics protocol, to output to NewSight displays with no integration effort.

The OpenGL driver interfaces with OpenGL software allowing CAD designers, animation creators and engineers and scientists to view and present their work on NewSight displays using common presentation tools such as Eon Reality's Eon Viewer.

The Open GL Enhancer is available as a download from the NewSight website.

System Requirements
  • OpenGL compatible 3D applications, preferably Opticality certified
  • Windows 2000 or XP
  • NVIDIA 3D-graphics card (GeForce FX, Quadro FX with 2-screen capability)
  • 2GHz or greater CPU
  • A standard 2D display

Simultaneous 2D & 3D Display
The NewSight OpenGL Enhancer allows 3D programs to be rendered simultaneously on separate 2D and 3D displays, with 3D images displayed on the 3D display while 2D information is shown only on the 2D screen.
